I didn't sell much. But after a two-year Covid delay it was nice seeing old acquaintances again. I don't think the show was advertised very well as it never did get crowded.

It looks like you guys had a great time running trains. Itβs good seeing kids having fun running trains.

That 2-6-6-4 steamer in Standard Gauge is magnificent. Never saw that before in Standard Gauge... only in Lionel's N&W Class A offering. And this year Mr. Muffin's Trains is also offering a "what if" Pennsylvania RR Class A too.

Watching this a 2nd time gave me an appreciation for the LionChief concept. Look at the 2 young boys in the video and see how they are participating in the club night without reservation. Know exactly what they are doing with their remote - simple and intuitive - and they fit right in with the veterans of our more sophisticated command control. Really smart and simple technology by Lionel. If you think of it from a marketing perspective, it gets the buyer started in a simple way and if they enjoy it, the desire for the next level of command control and engine realism follows for those who can afford it. It's the hook to bigger and better. By the way, if you have a layout, is there anything more precious and satisfying than having one of the young ones jump in and enjoy the hobby? Photo of one of my grand daughters who happens to love the trains!

What Bob says is very true. When we set up the traveling layout for the Detroit Historical Society, just hand a small child the Lionel remote and they pick right up on it.

Nice video Charlie. The Standard Gauge engine is the Star of the show.
