I have a 1995 Lionel 6-82211 SD50 that has lights and sound, but doesn't run forward or backward with either conventional or TMCC (Cab-1) control.
I believe the LCRU1 board has given up the ghost and I need to replace it but can't find one.
Any advice anyone can give me would be appreciated.

OK, I took some advice and removed the chip from the LCRU, cleaned the contacts and reinstalled it. Now the loco acts almost like it should in command mode but doesn't operate in conventional mode at all. In command mode, I have all the lights, sound and movement functions but when I add up to full throttle, the engine only runs about 1/4 speed each way.
Both motors are running but they don't come up to speed. I've checked all the wiring connections and locations, and they are correct.
Has anyone had this issue and, if so, what did you find needed to be done to fix it?
