This good looking trio of Santa Claus collectibles are by the artist Merryweather. They are about 25 years old and we enjoy displaying them each Christmas season.

This Santa is my favorite out of the dozen or so that populate my home during the Christmas Season. It was purchased about 25 years ago from an artist who made one-offs and sold them at a local art fair. She knitted all of the clothing, hat, mittens, sweater and boots...is about 17 inches tall and needless to say, they became very collectable as no two were the same and because of their limited availability.

Beautiful Santa(s), Paul. No wonder it is your favorite.
I think what makes all of these special is the number of years we have cherished them.

Santa is very important......my daughter and son-in-law, who live in DC, took Winnie their Golden Doodle for a "fund-raiser picture with Santa charity event". Santa didn't show. Here is Winnie showing her dismay. After a while, she did recover and take some pics with Mrs Claus..... Peter

Below is a pc of one of Cheryl's more whimsical Santas. Buried in the basement as well! Gary.

The lesson here is to always have an understudy...or at least an backup Santa Suit you can throw on the stockiest guy in the room. Shame on bad Santa for ditching a charity event. Emile

We have had this Santa figure for a long time, much longer than the arrival of Bailee and Cooper. But, boy does it fit for us today. Sure could be a Kuvasz in this one.
