My wife has Parkinson disease I found out last week that I'm in the early stages of it, so I'll enjoy one day at a time. I'm lucky to be just turning 80. The usual start date is 60. Others can deal with my "stuff". Leaving for 3 weeks in Florida on 3/19 (train down, fly home). Going to England on the Queen Mary 2 in August (I hope).

The Queen Mary 2 is a very old ship. A friend of mine took it to England in 1964.

Today I had a rep visit and discuss the electric stairs. I would need two for my wife. One to get to the second floor and one to get down to our bedroom(5 steps).
I think in the long run, it will be less stressful for us. Now I get to keep working on my layout and my wife will get some other updates to the house that she desires.

You don't stop playing because you get old; you get old because you stop playing!

Joe, be optimistic and just keep going. Florida, good and the Queen Mary, great.

You don't stop playing because you get old; you get old because you stop playing! Very well said and definitely the truth!

Joe, Take one day at a time and enjoy the trains. Have fun on your trips. The train to Fla will be great. (He he I just showed my age by the Florida abbreviation. Kinda funny in a way how we get trained to use things). I sure hope I make it to my 80th as it gives me more play time. Curtis
