For those who are fans of Williams trains, Bachmann just released their 2022 catalog. resources.bachmanntrains.com/Bachmann2022/html5/index.htmlO-Gauge items: Plasticville starts on page 287 Williams starts on page 306 Not seeing very many new items, then again I haven't memorized what was in their 2021 catalog either.

Wow, the HO line is huge!! plus G is as well. O doesn't seem to have a lot to offer. I wonder if that's the MTH mold of the Amtrak F59PHI.

They still are cataloging the O gauge egg liners. It's been a year and a half and still no sign of them. why bother....

Thanks for the Bachmann link. It's kinda sad how they have let the Williams line dwindle down to nothing.

The Tropicana diesel is pretty cool. You would think that someone at Bachmann would have gotten the idea to sell Tropicana reefers to go with the engine.
I also like the operating boxcars, log and coal cars with the remote but these haven’t been mad for quite a while. I hope that having them in this catalog means they will actually be made sometime this year.

Zero interest for me.

200+ pages of HO and N stuff does nothing for me, although it's interesting to see how much larger Plasticville and other buildings and scenery is now under the Bachmann umbrella. The Williams items relegated to the back of the catalog really show that they have no interest in being a serious player in 3-rail O scale. Can't get worked up about that, however.

Adam,
Thanks for posting.
I am looking for a dummy updrade kit for a F3, or the True sounds plus upgrade kit for a GG1, they didn’t have either one, like they used to.
Must be cutting back.

Its a shame that Bachmann-Williams has steadily decreased the O gauge offerings. I loved their former passenger car line and also have two engines in my collection, a Lackawanna FM and a PRR GG1. Both still look and run like new. IMO, it is likely that Williams is fading out of the O Gauge market. At one time Williams had a reputation for good quality, simple operation and was the price leader. With the entrance of Menards into the business they seem positioned to fill the market niche that Williams once owned. Without an expanded product line I really won't miss them but the market has changed. Of all the train companies that have gone away I miss K-Line the most. They had a great offering

Adam, thanks for posting the link. I agree this is a shame with their level of offerings for O gauge. I've always been a fan of Williams. Back in the 90's when I got into O gauge, there were several dealers that recommended Williams for reliability and price point. I ended up buying several locomotives from Williams which still run great to this day.

The new Bachmann catalog is a waste of paper for Ogaugers.

Nothing to shout about I guess, with Williams tucked away in the last pages. Several retailers have the dummy powering kits, but only the 6-wheeler is listed. I like my Williams locomotives, but searching retailers is the only way to go now, I guess. They had a good thing there.
Can someone explain those Eggliners to me? 🤔
