Before Union Pacific's M-10000 and Chicago,Burlington, and Quincy's Zephyr, there was a 3 Mckeen car train built powered by a 300 hp gas engine.

LOL, I was just reading about the McKeen last week. So this was easy. Not going to say which got my vote, but it wasn't just now.

I was just reading about the McKeen cars (singles) that were part of a long defunct interurban that ran in the early parts of last century in my county - the Woodstock and Sycamore Traction Company - I have a beautifully detailed book on that line. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodstock_and_Sycamore_Traction_Company

I guessed C&NW, but it’s just a guess. My guess as well Me three, although it might be wrong if the C&NW didn't actually start until later?

See how this goes. I went with C&GW. Poland wasn't an option this time so I too had to guess.

A forerunner to the streamliners , Chicago Great Western used the Blue Bird, a three car train of rebuilt Mckeen cars for passenger service for Minneapolis-Rochester.
