New member starting our new layout. Fictional base but we mainly run BN, BNSF AND UP. I have had other layouts in the past but new to our new/ old house. I've spent the last 2 years restoring the 100 y/o place, not finished but at a spot I can start doing things for me. First off the benchwork is 1by3s and about 2/3 I was able to reuse from past layout. The main table is 6.5 ft by18 with a switching area that runs on 2 walls is 22 inches by 22 ft. The track was Atlas O but I am switching out to fastrack. The switching area is still Atlas and will remain that way. The only track plan set for now is the switching area. The main table is still working on a plan. I will wait for that come January. The photos are taken today, later on we will add my wife's Christmas village buildings just for the winter. Yes it looks like a mess but they all do in the beginning.

Nicky, I like the space. Nice basement with great finished walls to paint or put up a great background. Glad to have you join us and looking forward to your progress.

I like the cut-away for the bridges. I’m looking forward to seeing how that area turns out.
