These engines are two ES44ac BNSF premier Mth engines. The case at one time carried photo lenses and cameras. The foam was in pieces so I put the engine in the case and put the foam around it hot glueing it in place. Beings I like to take some of my engines over to a friends house who has a bigger layout than mine it makes it easier to take two engines back and forth. Putting them in and out of the boxes just invites damage. The engines in the case fit snugly..

Good idea. Rag or towel under trucks help oil or grease contamination to foam.

That’s a great idea Dave. I hate using the boxes the locomotives came in. They are not user friendly.
