Thanks to Tom's wonderful photo, we all get to see the new OGF Engine on the rails. Sure is very impressive. Wait till you all see the OGF 2022 Club Car. Those who ordered this engine may be very happy.

Very nicely done, Brian. Magnificent job!!! Many thanks to you and the entire production team for seeing this through to completion!!!
Can’t wait to put this winner through its paces on the Allegheny & Pacific Railway. It will be right at home there pulling a train of club cars. 😊

Can’t wait for its arrival!
What happened to the sticky thread Tom originally posted? I liked the camera angle in the video.

One of the posters asked that it be removed. There were a lot of other treads that cover this engine, so we agreed.

They could have just deleted their post? It must have been my negative comments that got it killed

Actually no, RJ. Your comments are always welcome. No worries, the OGF Engine has lots of coverage here.

Actually, any topic with too many threads is unnecessary.

Wait, what?!
The thread that got deleted was the original post about the arrival of Tom’s OGF engine. Why would anyone want the original thread deleted? I thought that wasn’t done here. Why not just close it? Very interesting.

Guys, I wouldn't read too much into the original pasted thread being deleted. I honestly don't recall any negative posts per se in it... but it was followed by 7 or so other threads featuring photos of the OGF 2022 locomotive. So at that point, it's not as if the locomotive lost any "exposure" with one thread being deleted. Why would anyone request the original thread be pulled? Only the requestor and the moderator know that answer.
Personally, I always err on the side of leaving folks wanting more. Other folks show their enthusiasm differently. And that's what makes the world go 'round. Meanwhile, I'll be looking for an ES44 locomotive-sized box coming from NJ in the not-too-distant future!!!

I don’t know. Something is fishy. A few posts questioning the OGF engine. No real negativity, just questions and the thread goes poof!
But then the original post, which was a sticky, is deleted because of “all the other posts about the engine “?
All the other threads about the engine were started by the same person. Why weren’t they put all in one thread if the worry was too many posts about the engine?
I’m all for lots of pictures and videos. But the reasoning doesn’t make sense for the deletion. Especially when it was an original thread that was stuck to the top of the thread list. The only difference is the original had some questions about the engine features.

There are reasons why the original thread was deleted, thank you for your observations about it.
