in case some have not heard or been on youtube lately they are starting a new requirement for 2020 terms of service regarding COPPA for kids as to making videos you need to select if your video is okay for children to view. am only posting this so we here can steer clear of any issues as we all at times create or share videos and supposedly if were in violation we could see a $42,000 fine! other reason I posted this is I noticed in last video I posted adds came along with the video so am sure google wouldn't attach offensive adds to kids but then again nothing is perfect so its better to check the not for children viewing to err on caution side if video were posting was made by us and uploaded to youtube.
I know this is really a youtube issue but then again if we err and post it it could possibly affect the OGF owners too? hopefully this won't get deleted or closed as its useful to us all.

Thanks for the update. Probably most who regularly use You Tube are aware of the new rule, but just in case, your thread will be very useful.

Just an FYI for you starting in 2020 any videos we upload to youtube you will be asked to select from 3 options on allowed viewers I already made mine to disallow children to view unfortunate but in todays world I rather be safe than sorry. |

I just saw that and selected the not for children option for my videos. I think that's the safer option.
