I usually don't decorate our home on the outside with lights but my wife asked if I would do something. So, I surprised her. I did something simple for her by putting white lights on bushes and then shined snow flakes onto the house...

Here is another one of my favorite Christmas Train Layout photos from 2003. This is my MTH RailKing ProtoSound 1 Crescent Limited engine. This is probably my best smoking engines and it only is ProtoSound 1! It could smoke you out of the room!

This is the first of several videos of other people's Christmas layouts that are so good that I just have to share. I return to these every year to not only enjoy but to get inspired by when creating my own layouts. I l like this first one for several reasons. First, the video quality is incredible nearing the level of thebigcrabcake . Second, the video editing with weaving in the audio from so many cherished Christmas movies to create a story. Third, that backdrop is incredible! Fourth, combined with the great lighting, it's just a clean, bright, professional looking layout that just a pleasure to watch. I also like the icicles on the loop around the tree. And I love how it weaves the audio and music from The Polar Express throughout. Watch it in its entirety to get the full effect of the story. I love this YouTube video. One of my favorites for sure. Found it last year.

While Gracie, our dog, took me out for a walk this evening, I took a few photos of Nativity scenes in our neighborhood. One of my favorite decorated homes in the neighborhood! Santa joines into this Nativity!

Today, I had a few of my local train friends over to see my Christmas Train Layout. It was great to see them! Last year, because of COVID we all stayed put in our homes during the holidays, so it was good again to be able to come together. I had 10 trains running today at once for over an hour with no derailments which is quite a accomplishment!! Usually, there is always some sort of mishap on the layout when having friends over!

Custom conversion of the Lionel scale PE Observation Car. Flat flat end to the proper rounded version as it was in the movie.
