This year I have been watching the many Hallmark movies. Of course Charlie Brown as well. My absolute favorite Christmas movie is from 1986, Christmas Eve starring Lorretta Young, Trevor Howard, Artur Hill, Ron Leibman, Season Hubley and others. Get's me every time. On Christmas Day Christmas Vacation is a must.
Gary.

Most of those are movies we watch at least once. Couple of new ones on these lists for us as well. What about shorter traditional shows? There are bunch of these shorter specials, mostly made in the 60s and 70s that we love to watch.
A Charlie Brown Christmas How the Grinch Stole Christmas Frosty the Snowman Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Santa Claus is Coming to Town Jack Frost Twas the Night Before Christmas The Year Without Santa
On a related note, growing up we had a record of the Twas the Night Before Christmas along with a book. My brother and I would listen to that record every day and follow along with the book.

Excellent choice, John. There is a colorized version as well. We have both the original and the remake.

It's not Christmas until the "Animagic" (stop-motion) Rankin/Bass shows hit the air. Fun fact: The Animagic productions were headed by Japanese stop-motion animator Tadahito Mochinaga at his studio, MOM Productions. In fact all of the Rankin/Bass productions were created at "MOM" in Tokyo.

LOL! It's funny how that movie somehow became a Christmas classic. Doesn't usually make a showing in our home, but to each their own.
