Looks great Joe. The sand house is an often overlooked structure when it came to locomotive servicing facilities
For those unfamiliar, sand was as important as coal, water and fuel oil. Sand is used to provide traction for heavy traction situations such as wet rail. Sand also added more adhesion on dry rail, to help give the engine more pulling power.
Sand is still used on modern locomotives today…
