The show was definitely smaller but I found it to be a very good show. Yes lots of dealers did not show up but for me if they didn't show up I just bought items at dealers that did. I found alot of great deals. There seemed to me there was alot more of MTH for sale than lionel. The Lionel booth was busy and they had thier usual display. Looks like the next VL engine will be the Class A. The new SD70ace's are on the water according to Ryan. The yellow hall was OK but not great, the purple hall Was busy and alot of dealers with decent prices, just trains was fully stocked with very good prices.
Tomorrow ill be going to the blue/ silver and the red and white halls and will report my findings. I'm enjoying myself and hope to continue the fun tomorrow.
Btw about 10% of the attendees were wearing g a mask.

The bottom line, you had a great time and that's all that really counts.
Thanks for the report, David.

Another great day at York, I visited the blue, silver and the white halls. Business was heavier than yesterday with more members attending. The blue hall was very busy with most of the tables used by sellers. Saw alot of great deals and 3 or 4 sellers selling their private collections. The silver and red was about the same as the blue. Lots more cars in the parking lot today.
Met alot of OGF members like Chris (2),Wood Foss, Emile and his wife Jennifer, JD Stucks, Sean, Laz and many others, excuse me if I forgot your name or left it out.
Overall I think it was a couple of days well spent, not as big as some York's but that was to be expected. But great deals, seeing great friends and making new friends especially guys like sean, Chris (RPB)and Chris, and Jason. It is great seeing young guys involved in the hobby. I love their energy.
Btw I did buy a few things at York. Found some good deals on MTH premier cabooses (3) and a great buy on a new premier ES44ac in BNSF 25th anniversary scheme from Just trains in the purple hall. Pictures will have to wait until tomorrow, I'm really tired so ill unpack and take pictures sometime tomorrow.

Btw about 10% of the attendees were wearing g a mask. Dave Thanks, I was wondering about that. Mask usage in our supermarkets seems to be up to 50% or more lately. I only wear one if I have to.

Joe,
Some people reported seeing up to 50% masking but I was in all the buildings and that was not happening. I stand by that it was 10-15%

I had a great week at York. The bandit meet at the Windham was about the same as it was in oct 2019. The inside convention room was filled with tables. There was also a show at the 4 points Sheraton. 2 rooms full of stuff. Thursday I walked the blue, silver, red and white halls. Friday I did the purple, yellow and orange halls. The only changes I saw was that the sellers in the member halls sat behind there tables. Most of them liked it that way. The isles were further apart which made the walking easier. I missed the buses that ran between the halls. You had to walk from hall to hall. The weather couldn't have been better. Sun every day from Monday to Saturday. Temperature between 68 -75 degrees. We headed home at 8 am Saturday. I think they had may have had a little rain Saturday morning, but it was sunny all the way home to Maine. My daughter bought out York, and the Christmas tree shops. She came home with 5 shopping bags full of stuff. I was glad we took her Cadillac SUV and not my car. We barely had room for Bingo our Boston terrier.

My biggest gripe I think was if you made if over to White Hall there was no coffee to give you energy to back to the orange hall!
