So my one and only local Hobby shop had a lot of standard gage cars (11 to be exact) and I could not let them set there.
She said 35 buck each and they are yours.
So I put them in a box, sight unseen and said sold. Here is what I found. I have been cleaning them up with light Palmolive dish soap and gentle pledge wax. Only the refrigerator car was the only casualty, It had paint coming off of it before I removed it from the box. Seems to be a common occurrence with these.
Is the hopper with the rubber stamp on the car hard to find?
Here is the 514 one with a soapy roof:

Nice find, especially the 515 Shell tank car. That's pretty rare. Most 515s are ivory, and then there is a somewhat rare ivory version with a Sunoco decal. If that 515 that you have is original, you did very well.

Congratulations on joining the standard gauge world. Now you will have to rip out the O gauge and put up standard gauge.

Absolutely gorgeous - and they will look great around the tree. I am always tempted by the Standard gauge world.
