I just bought this ROW Docksider tank locomotive. It is lettered for the PRR even though they didn’t have any as modern as this locomotive in real life. It was made by a Korean Company, Ajin, for ROW. It is brass and cast metal and it is very heavy. This engine has smoke and directional lighting. There is a plug to attach to a sound car, also made by ROW, that provides sound effects. They are hard to come by though. ROW made this in a few different road names. I also have the B&O version which was the actual prototype. Tom

Good find 4dogs! That is a cute little worker. I still have my Lionel 1656 and love running it. It is not ROW, but a switcher. Similar and a cute little worker too!!

This one I haven’t tested yet, but the other two I have run very nicely. The short wheel base may give some trouble on crossover switches though...

Good note on the short wheel base. I have had issues with our Atlas turnouts with my Plymouth switcher. Will be interesting to see how this handles them.

Yeah, the center rail pick ups are spread as far apart as they could do with the short wheel base. They may perform better than expected...

I have the Chesapeake & Ohio 0-4-0 and the Baltimore & Ohio green Railway Express Agency wagon top box car with sounds. Both original boxes. If i were to put it up For Sale, what do you think would be a fair price between two gentlemen? John Mateyko

The engine would go for any where from $350-$450, depending on condition. They are many for sale, so adjust your price accordingly.
The sound car is usually an item that is sought after, I have never seen one for sale. My guess would be $200-$300.
Perhaps other could chime in here and offer other suggestions…
