Some of you may have not noticed, by CTT has a new Editor, Hal Miller. Hal is no stranger to the model railroading publishing business as he has served as the Editor of Kalmbach's Model Railroader magazine. We wish Hal great success with his new role at Kalmbach Publishing.
I had a chance to speak to Hal recently and I extended the best wished from all of the OGF members. He was very gracious and was well aware of the success of the OGF forum since our launch date. They monitor us regularly and are happy to be part of our growing family. |

Is Hal an additional editor or is he replacing somebody? In either case I wish him well editing my favorite magazine.

Hal is the new Managing Editor of CTT. Carl Swanson moved over to the Model Railroader.
Roger Carp is a very active member of the CTT Editorial staff. He is a gem. |

Carl is a nice guy, I hope they don't treat him like they did Bob.

Jim, I believe that Carl is very happy with this move. The Model Railroader is their flagship publication. I spoke to him during the transition.  |

For years we 3 railers had to make due with MR or Craftsman. Lack of advertising has hurt every type of publication. I have meet the OGR group as well as Carl, Bob and Roger. I repeat, I hope they don't treat Carl the way they did Bob.
