I’ve seen this video posted in a couple or three other places so if you’ve seen it already pardon me. But this is Big Boy 4014 with two diesel helpers at Cajon Pass, CA, at the head of Horsethief Canyon, pulling a large part of the UP Heritage Fleet. I count 23 cars in all including 7 of the 8 dome cars in the Fleet, which you can see at about the 13 minute mark:
Mixed in the consist both in the middle and at the end are at least a couple of the Business Cars and also the massive 2066 generator/power car.
The only missing feature car appears to be the Council Bluffs “Flag” baggage/recreation car. Dunno why that would be but this train is obviously moving a lot of the UP passenger rolling stock around. Impressive - long live UP.

Geez.... I've held off on Lionel's various iterations of the Big Boy for years -- even the latest VisionLine Big Boy a couple of years ago. But all these 1:1 videos featuring the "real" 4014 followed by a string of yellow is getting tougher and tougher to resist -- not to mention the OGF apparel colors are black and yellow too. How can I refuse that color coordination??? So I might just FINALLY break down after all these years, and treat myself to MTH's new Big Boy #4014 with the oil tender and whistle-steam.
