Last year we received and returned a set of Lionel Polar Express scale passenger cars because they were simply a disaster and we didn’t trust Lionel to repair something with that many problems.
I mentioned it to Emile and before April York ended, Emile and Jennifer had found a two car set that was the most difficult thing to locate of the older P E cars.
Last week we were talking about the rest of the cars and I told them that I had had no luck locating any more. The source that we had was not answering his phone and was not at York. They said that they would search for some of the other cars.
Friday they said that they had walked the entire show with no luck. Wow, thank you for trying so hard. With my knee problem, there was no way that I could have done that.
Yesterday I received an e-mail from Emile with E-Bay listings for four cars that Legacy Station had. Immediately I pulled the trigger and they will be here Monday.
Emile and Jennifer , thank you so much for your help. You have made our grandchildren very happy as well as nieces, nephews, and neighborhood kids and adults.
As soon as they arrive, they are going on the layout.
