Well I heard MTH is coming out with another release. This time a Railking BNSF 25th Anniversary ES44AC 30-20811-1 with Caboose + an 8 boxcar set 30-70122. Photos I found while searching online. I do like the boxcars!! I may someday get those.

I guess I'm showing my age. I didn't know BNSF has been around for 25 years already! They look very nice Tom. I saw the engine-caboose set was coming out, but not the nice boxcar set too.

Fortunately I'm not a BNSF fan so this one doesn't tempt me like the new Trump Train does. For those that are BNSF fans this looks like a really good collection and since it's Railking they can probably get the engine, caboose and all the cars for little more than the cost of a Premier engine.

This is the set of boxcars Andy alluded to on the Trainworld virtual train show a couple of weeks ago. Another “uncatalogued” winner from MTH for layouts of all sizes!!!

These are very nice if not unique cars - I wish I had the space.
But maybe more importantly, this keeps the MTH brand visible despite Mike Wolf's professed intention to walk away. I don't know what this might mean in terms of PS3 engine/control components production, but it's keeping the brand going.

At the very least, the MTH O-Gauge business seems to be going out with a bang.
