Very Frustrating that there is no direct line to call them. I made two separate train purchases over the required amount for the free truck add on, only to find that they charged my credit card for both the trucks. I have sent three emails so far which I received the usual “We will get back to you” nonsense. I guess I will play the waiting game a bit more and see what happens before filing a dispute with my credit card company. A simple phone call answered by them would quickly solve this issue.......
Just venting.....

It took me nearly two weeks to get a return label. The last week was "we already sent it," over and over. It's annoying, but we are very spoiled by Amazon shipping these days! I hear you, Pete. True customer service seems to be a thing of the past. Now everything is electronic and frustrating. It saves money for the business but creates lots of agita for the customer.

Hey Guys,
The direct email for train-related questions is guest@menard-inc.com. This will speed the process up for everyone.
We prefer using email because the emails are handled by the most knowledgeable person. You would be surprised how small the train department is (only 3 people!!). To put things in perspective, there are over 60,000 employees at Menards. Good luck to any receptionist trying to transfer that call.
Take care, Mark the Menards Train Guy

email is the way to go or their online forms. Of course, if the folks answering the phones are from the midwest, I will call them. Friendly nice folks!

I've had to contact them a couple times due to damage issues at delivery. They has corrected both issues. I contacted via the website. Initial response each time was the following day. I'd give them a big thumbs up.

Just keep in mind you are not dealing with train people. Menards is a home improvement store not a hobby shop. Besides Mark, most employees don't know anything but to stock the shelves. This is not a bad thing it just is what it is.

I actually didn't know that until I was at York a few years ago and mentioned to a guy about buy trains from them and he had never heard of Menards. Back then their rolling stock was $19. Now it's $22.
