AcDc-V5-Inst.pdf (1019.17 KB) First I've done AC commander but it has been about 10 years ago when Electric RR was not even part of Lionel, they where there own company. To me this is not understandable to someone not electric minded, but can follow directions. Questions does the two wires to a DC motor go into spots motor 1 and motor 2 respectably or is that to hook up two motors to the board and the other wire to the motor go into the spot labeled AC Common? The way I see it and hope is correct before I jump to the gun and test it, is that ( I have a dual motor Williams ) one wire from each engine goes into motor 1 and then the other wires from the two motors go into motor 2 and the ac common is the is well you common lead from the frame ( I call it ground which probably wrong) and the one called ac Hot ( 3rd ) is from the middle pick-up. Any help thanks

Yes, the two motor wires indicated refer to each motor brush connection, rather than an engine with 2 motors. One motor wire to #1 brush, the other wire to brush #2. If the engine starts in reverse then swap the 2 wires at the ERR Commander connection for proper orientation.
If your intention is to retain the slowing method of wiring 2 motors in series and adding ERR, please report on the results. I'm guessing it produces a slower than desired loco. Adding ERR to the stock parallel wiring of the inherently speedy William's might correct the racer all by itself.

No, I'm going to run it in parallel at first anyway. Thanks for conforming though
