Wow TOM, it’s sooooo bright I had to wear shades to view!!!! Enjoy your new engine!!! wait ‘till you see one in person!!! It’s even brighter!!!! You can’t miss it. I saw one in the display case at Hennings Trains — before I even entered the store. That’s how bright the blue is. 😳

Well it may look bright blue, but honest, it depends upon the lighting people use. We use soft white color bulbs in the figures and so the blue doesn't look the way you see in these photos I took. I personally love this locomotive and I know quite a few people will also enjoy.

Tom, congrats on the new locomotive. She is a beauty but I've always been partial to Conrail blue.👍

I'm not a Conrail guy but WOW that is something... Lionel claims these fantasy schemes are some of their most popular offerings. If memory serves me correctly, when Lionel offered the 49'er Challenger in that -- dare I say it -- hideous paint scheme, it ranked second to orders for the real prototype model.
I can see where the Conrail T1 version would have a fan club, though. It’s quite the eye-catcher in a good way.

Very eye catching. If your not a purest it would look good on any layout.
