the engine face was not happy managed to fix bent headlight but have an email to midge at mth to see if somewhere on a cobweb shelf exists a cow catcher as mine is in more pieces than even super glue can fix.

I hate when that happens. 😳 Good luck with the repairs.

You are not alone. Most of us have had that happen.

I hope they have the cow catcher for you. That would be a nice Christmas present.

That K4 gets a two minute penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct-diving!

Hope you can find a replacement part . I had a caboose that took a dive, no fixing it, I was extremely disapointed.

Don't feel bad, I dropped my TrainWorx/Lionel Grand Central Station last week. It shattered, with the total base separating from the building. All the windows fell out. One corner broke into 4 pieces. Part of one front arch was obliterated, another arch damaged badly.
Fortunately, I was able to glue it 99.9% back together, but there are spaces and cracks, as the pieces do not break cleanly. It will have to be delegated as a distance object now instead of the showcase part of the layout. Rebuilding the old Grand Central Depot in its place.

received an email from Midge stating they do not have the cow catcher anymore. so now I will claim it to be a newly rebuilt in shops with a major change eliminating the cow catcher. it was worth a try as sometimes old parts collect dust on a long forgotten shelf.

I like how you think. You saw opportunity where others might see failure.

Vince, that is a terrible shame. Can you fill the spaces and cracks with modeling putty?
