Anyone know how to fix a Lemax Ferris Wheel? It is not spinning. I think there is a belt inside that may need replaced. The problem is I have not idea on how to get to apart. If I can't fix it I am going to have to return it. I got a really good deal on it at a local store because it was a display. But when I bought it it was already in the box so I didn't see it run. It is a great piece and I hate to return. Can anyone here help?

I did a search for lemax and found that they offer no replacement parts nor nary any schematics of them so basically I am of no help to you I wish you luck. best advice is see if any screws are available to get it disassembled or just take it back and get a refund I would think where the power adapter plugs in that close by would be the operating part of making the wheel move if you have a multi meter make sure the adapter is working and if you can gain access to where the power goes from there see if power is reaching the motor good luck and let us know the outcome.

Return it Bruce. It may have a lot of use on it as a demo.

The parts for most holiday items like this are fairly common items like stepper motors and small belts. If you don't want to fool with that stuff, return it. You are correct twin cities, parts lists are not available nor are wiring diagrams. However, they are pretty simple and fairly obvious once ya get them opened up.

Update: I took it back for a return and when they checked it out it started working again. Go figure. I brought it back home and is still working. Lets hope it stays that way....x
