Has Lionel ever come up with a way to get sound updates to Legacy locomotives?
Reason I ask is the chuff sound on the Lionmaster Challenger I got is pretty lame compared to the sound on the RailKing 2-8-8-2, and it's PS2, not even PS3. Yet it's still a much better sound profile.
The high speed chuff does not change pitch and get quieter like it should. Sounds like a faster beat low speed chuff. Plus I don't get the out of synch chuff like I do on the PS2 locomotive. Best way to describe it is it sounds more like a drum at higher speeds than a chuff as it keeps the deeper bass resonance.
