If my son and I if we get done with York Friday and there's no need to hit the isles Saturday. The plan is, on the way home to stop at Steam Town for a tour. I know Scranton hobby is just down the road and was wondering, worth a stop?

I have never been to their train shop, but they have an impressive display in their booth at the Orange Hall. Lots of vehicles of all kinds. I usually bring something home from them every York Meet.
Nice folks as well.

Hi Gary. We will be in Scranton Sunday morning for a visit to Steamtown. I checked the website for Scranton Hobbies and they are open till 4pm so I will probably pop in. Thanks Brian, I did not know they would be at York.
Gary.

Scranton Hobbies is a very good store, well worth a visit.
Also visit Gryzboski’s over in Moosic, Pa. not too far from Scranton.

Scranton Hobbies is a very good store, well worth a visit. Also visit Gryzboski’s over in Moosic, Pa. not too far from Scranton. Excellent recommendation. Gryzboski’s has a nice showroom and if you strike up a conversation with the owner, you might get a look at the connected warehouse. There’s tons of used and new trains in the warehouse that aren’t on the website. Not sure if they even know what all they have. Look around and you may find that hard to get item.
