If you can make it to the Milwaukee area, Trainfest will be held November 9 & 10th. Yes, it is primarily an HO show in terms of layouts and vendors, but it is well done and in a superb facility. There is enough there for model train enthusiasts to make the trip worthwhile.
I always attended when I lived in the Chicago area and it was a fun day.

Another reason to attend, one of our OGF member clubs, the Midwest Division of the TCA, will have it's large and spectacular modular lauout at this show.

This is very nice show to attend. I have been there several times. There are lots layouts to see of all Gauges. You won't see many vendors with O'Gauge Trains for sale. In the past Lionel and MTH have been there. Lots of kids activities which is good for the hobby.

If I could make it to a show, this is the one I would go to.

A long way for both of us, Forrest, but a good show nonetheless.
