The post on "Your Layout, Percentage (%) Completed" made me think is there anything in accessories, or buildings you would like to see made or available to complete, add to, or for a scene completion? Personally for my layout I'm looking for the Artista Black roofing tar set made with the pickup truck and kettle no longer made or available.

None that I know of. The PE side has many custom build structures that Elizabeth an I crafted and is filled otherwise. The CIC as well, but if Department 56 makes another Hi-Rise like the Singer Building, I would fit it in.

Ours is lacking a roundhouse. It needs a seven stall one to go with Al’s 34” turntable.
Last night I was looking at three boxes, all labeled Dennis Brennan Roundhouse. Assembly needed and it looks like a 3-4 month job at best.

My layout is close to completion. Anything new will have to be crafted to fit the available space.
Bill, it does take a long time, 6 months for the CAT facility. The Banff Springs took a year. The Englewood station has been 4 months. Modeling brings me a lot of satisfaction.
You want to get your layout up and running. Gets the trains running now and save the difficult jobs for down the road. I'm into 13 years on this project. But my family and I have been running trains since the beginning.

Thanks Wood. We have really enjoyed following your build.
Trains have been running here since ten days before Christmas and that makes a tremendous difference.
Can’t save a difficult job any longer. Must install the turnout control system now and am picking up stuff in York for it. Once we have that, Rich Holden and I are going to tackle relays/DCS AIU. It will be like the lanterns for the turnouts... figure it out and complete one at a time. Before we know it, we will be expert novices.
Then we go to level two.
We built structures for 3-4 years before we started the layout. So once we get some basics done, progress will really pick up as we enter the scenery stage. We will get there.

It is a beautiful roundhouse, Bill, but a bear to assemble. Well worth the effort.

There are no buildings or accessories that my layout is lacking unless you count thinks like people cars and small details. Wait, I almost forgot trees, I need lots more trees. But all the big stuff is done. I don't have room to add any more buildings. I might be able to squeeze in another block or crossing signal somewhere but even that is difficult.

I didn’t think so until I saw the fruit distribution center.
