Paula asked me to put in a couple of Brooklins for her while she fixes dinner. And that meant start with the 1965 Impala pink collection convertible. She also mentioned a 1957 Bel-Air 4-door sedan, another pink collection member. Pretty cars to say the least. We need to take pictures of more of the Chevy fleet. Not enough hours in the day to get everything done.

Andy, can you provide the details on the cream & gray Fleetline Woody. I will Brian, when I can retrace my search steps. Meanwhile, I have nabbed one (plus a another BTO Chevy Woody, a “Fleetmaster”). You and Bill & Paula Webb should never have sent me down this road!

Meanwhile, I have nabbed one (plus a another BTO Chevy Woody, a “Fleetmaster”). You and Bill & Paula Webb should never have sent me down this road! This is simply the introductory phase. Symptoms include searching for another "perfect" vehicle and a gradual but increasing interest in other models. You don't necessarily purchase but you realize they are there. Don't worry, you think that you are still in control. And friends delight in asking seemingly harmless questions that usually require just a tad more search and locate time.

Andy, can you provide the details on the cream & gray Fleetline Woody. This is a model by NEO, who I don’t know much about although I have one other model by them. It is listed as a 1948 Chevy Fleetline Aerosedan, sku NEO45833, cream and gray apart from the wood panels. It is not diecast but resin; my other car from this maker is also of that material and is very nicely finished. Doesn’t have quite the weight of a diecast/white metal model and there are no opening panels but the detailing is very fine - including separately applied metal and some photo-etched brass parts. There’s a number of these currently listed on eBay; I got mine from a US seller.

57 Bel-Airs, Joe. Some of the best from Chevrolet. I agree Brian. My mom and dad had a '59 Bel Air. It was a great car. I also like Impalas a lot.

I'm disappointed that the only model car company we now recognize is Brooklin...with its own forum, no less.
