For the next few weeks I'm working until 6 am so I have a little time to work on some model buildings.
I bought a pre-built building.
First thing I did was clean the mold off of the roof with alcohol, then painted tar lines.......
The water tank takes up a lot of room so I'm just adding an extra vent pipe. I took some scrap roof details and with some cutting and glue I made a new vent pipe.
Next was some painting and weathering.......
That's today's progress............More to follow

Looking good Joe. Always good to see how details and weathering can transform a bland building into an eye catcher.

Excellent work on the building, Joe. It is already much improved. It's nice that you have some time to spend on trains.
Good luck in the election next week.

Thank you everyone. I cannot wait for Nov 3 to get here.
During this short election period I have met some of the nicest people and made some enemies that will last for several years to come lol.

Day 2: I was able to get an hour in and used a touch up stain pen to darken the water tank stand.
With these 2 colors I painted the roof of the tank.
Next will be painting and weathering the tank, adding a ladder and supply and return pipe....... Till next time
