Relaxing in the train room is fun You can rock the hours away. Sometimes you might be aboard a passenger train 8 and, as you fall asleep, you can dream of other places where you can sit high and watch the mountains go by. The neat things about dreams is that they do not have to make sense and can take you far away Where trains are different. Hey Crab Cake, where has this dream gotten to? It sure ain’t Kansas.

Hey Vern...can you run that gondola by me? Thanks! Gary. Well Gary, since I don't have video capability, I'm not able to do a video "run-by" of the NYC gondola. 😂. But here's some info on it. This was sent to me from my son-in-law who lives in Hawaii and got it at a garage sale a few years back. According to my Standard Catalog of Lionel Trains, 1945-1969, of course it's postwar and this particular car #6462, was manufactured in 1954, painted red, with bar-end trucks. I hope this helps. As for the M & Ms, well, you can buy them just about anywhere. 😂 One of the best Gondola loads I have ever seen!

That looks like the OBB: The Austrian Federal Railways (German: Österreichische Bundesbahnen). Although it is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, there is an OBB line that extends to Budapest, Hungary where it runs along the shores of the Danube River. While train dreams during the day are beautiful, it’s hard to beat the dreamlike presence of the Budapest Parliament building as seen from the Danube.
