WOW!! What a way to construct a building. We love our River Leaf Models. I didn't know they could be built this way. Bill insists on wallpaper, carpet, lighting, furniture, and people. In other words, complete decor for each building. You know who the interior decorator is. Paula, Our building has a lot of room inside with wide windows, so interior will add even more realism! Andre.

Chalk paint is normal water base paint mixed with plaster of paris. You can make it but is a mess if you dont know the ratio. So will take more than 30 min to finish it! Any further question please feel free to ask! Andre.

Hi to all, Before the chalk powder treatment, we will install some external details first. Even the laser is precise, the cutting is made applying heat and tolerance could variate in few thousands of an inch. So, what we recommend is adjust each window frame to each window opening one by one after the frames are painted. Use water base paint and paint it well. with a razor knife separate the frame and using sand paper, remove the paint excess and adjust to the main wall opening Paint and attache the cornice ornaments Paint and prepare the cargo door, window sills and cargo beam. this doors is made from laser board, the best result is painting black and red ocre for rusty appearance. Stay tuned.

Windows sill add character to any building. Some of them were made from granite, other from same bricks or concrete. I like the grey because are more visible. Cargo door could be painted any color, we chose a rusty one. And for a window a chicken net as test, probably we will keep it. to be continued....

Does anyone have a lead on interior graphics for decorating these buildings? We look at the internet for pictures of building interiors with similar occupancies. These can be easily adjusted to size and used. We use that as background and install furniture, etc. The etc above can include TV sets, fireplaces, etc with LEDs. Floor coverings also come off the internet. I am assuming that you know the places where you can get furniture, equipment, people, lights, etc. We have 5 plastic boxes filled with stuff for detailing interiors and exteriors. It's really fun. If you need specifics, let me know.

Seems like chalk would be less uniform thus better. Maybe we are not to that part yet?

Bill, Chalk treatment is pure weatherizing colors It will at the end after decals and everything is on the structure. For stucco paint, I recommend chalk paint (too many chalk) that is basically water base paint with plaster of paris.(not recommend to mix it by yourself) there is many colors and great to use them because the texture. Andre.
