Anyway to have it default to a larger size? Maybe not this size but a little larger than the default? Maybe this size, or this size or something in between?

I agree. The small default font size and the tiny default display of uploaded photos are weaknesses of this forum compared to others.

This seems quite similar to another forum I am on. It has the same setting for font and cannot be changed.
If you forget to change the font people need trifocals to read the post.

Our programmer changed the font size. This is the default using the Reply button.
