Joe, I couldn't agree more. Those little hidden corners of history can be very interesting and surprising when you come across them. The fun thing is that they can sometimes be found right in your own town sometimes. One thing I like to do is look up towns on Wikipedia and get a history of it. At the bottom of the Wikipedia there is a list of notable people who lived there. I always find it fun to learn who the famous people were.
