Show us your favorite Electric Locomotive. This MTH GN set of Box cabs are high on my list. They just have that fugly look that screams out with lots of details.

I love those locos. Unfortunately I don't have one.

The Bi-Polars for sure. Had two of them, but they no longer fit into our layout theme.

The GG1 is my favorite. Something about their modern sort of artdeco look and history that appeals to me.

Hands down, the GG1 - I had the good fortune to see these wonderous locomotives on a regular basis as my Grandma lived near the NEC, my Great Grendfather and my Grandfather (for a time) worked for the PRR.

Not being from the east, was never a fan of the electrics. So I don’t have a favorite.🤔

Lionel has an influence on my choice of course. The GG1. Saw one running once. As we sat on the Strasburg siding we waited and watch a GG1 swoosh by. John I do like the box cabs you posted.

Boxcabs are gnarly; GG1s and Little Joes are sleek - I have to say in a better way than the bullet trains in Japan, one of which I've been on. However, Emile is right to refer to the Acela, which despite all the issues (of the Lionel model) is a great train. But not for the first time I have to say that my favorite electrics are these, which I grew up with.

We like the Virginians that Scott did. They handled the mountains with ease.
