Abbey Road, the eleventh studio album by the Beatles, was released on 26 September 1969. The famous Album cover features a photograph of the Beatles crossing Abbey Road in London. I have recreated that scene in a prior Christmas layout and then again on my dashboard. The Beatles 1964 arrival at JFK Airport was also recreated in one of my prior Christmas layout. This year's layout will recreate a scene from the Beatles movie Help. Photos of that will come later this year. Do you have Beatles or other Pop-Culture references on your layout? Emile

Thanks Emile. Makes me feel OLD. Seriously those are some nice scenes. No Beatles on my layout, but I do have a few characters that folks might recognize.

I think I remember them. Didn’t they have a tv show with a theme song that went “Here we come, walkin’ down the street. We get the funniest looks from, everyone we meet. ” ?

This is a classic example of how actual events can be nicely merged into a train layout. Just takes a little imagination (well, maybe a lot).
