Allow me to preface this post by saying that this will be a complete waste of time, though it is less than 2 minutes long. For some strange reason, I have had in my head that I wanted to build a consist that goes all the way around my (8x5) layout and I had to scratch the itch. The result of this I am calling the "Infini-Train". Of course, pulled (pushed?) by my trusty Boston & Maine RS-3. Without further ado, here is the link to the time-wasting, Inifiti-Train. arypinski.smugmug.com/Choochoo/i-FJnX8WW/AHas anyone else done something silly like this?

Nice. I haven't done that, but I think I will some day. I am always concerned because my loops have grades, but what goes up must come down, so if I do an infinitrain, I guess I would in effect cancel out the grades!

That sort of train could open a tear in the space-time continuum! Spooky thought! I haven't risked it. Closest I have got is a passenger train of 21" cars extending around three corners of a big oval. Did NOT look too realistic.

Careful! That sort of train could open a tear in the space-time continuum! I think it already did! How else could you explain the “Millenium Falcon” on a flatcar? May the Force be with you! Yoda

Yoda Ahh, forgot I had the Star Wars cars running. I had this idea to have a JAKUU Junkyard section on the layout. JAKUU is the junkyard planet that shows up in the Force Awakens. The Millennium Falcon is one of the ships in the junkyard. I may still add a section like that someday.

That is the wildest train video I've ever seen. I think I'm going to try that... hold my beer.
