Beautiful building. I took those photos in 2002. I don't know when Peter's photos were taken but you can see the deterioration of the station. It's sad to see it falling apart.

Peter, those are two beautiful trains. As a native New Yorker I have a soft spot in my heart for NY railroads like the O&W, and of course, the NYC is by far and away my favorite.

I believe it was back in the mid '70s that Kalmbach, under the Model Railroader banner, put out a book with the title RAILROADS YOU CAN MODEL that had a very large NYO&W N scale track plan. It had all of the major features of the O&W and I remember thinking that it was the perfect plan if only I had the room to build it. The article had a lot of information and photos of the O&W as well as the track plan. I no longer have that book but it would be a great resource for anyone interested in the O&W, and, if you happen to have a warehouse to build a layout in, you could adapt the track plan for O Gauge.
