Silver? And my most recent silver car, purchased last month: 😁 I like all that SILVER Vern!! Nice RIDE Too. Gary. Thanks Gary. I guess if you run a warbonnet Santa Fe passenger train, you're going to have lotsa silver on your layout.

The biggest lode of silver I've mined at any time is in this Texas Special diner kitchen, here shown before adding chefs and the steaks on the grill:
Actually this is at least three different chrome effect paints/coatings. Alclad II lacquer was the first and main one used and is no easy thing to work with. HB, the detail in the photo is incredible. Outstanding work.

Spot on advice Joe. Looks much better now. A little darker but more realistic. With practice I might actually get pretty good at this weathering thing! Not sure I will ever have the guts to weather a locomotive though. Excellent job Adam. The car sure is dirty but looks very good.

Nothing like the silver side panels on the MTH Premier Sante Fe F units.

Yes, it is a lighted 18-wheeler by Jack Pearce.

My contribution, my newly repowered Super Chief. Wanted to post my California Zephyr also, but can't locate a decent shot other than the one CTT "owns."
