That's shiny Emile. I like it! We have the Lionel Mark Twain version. Thinking about giving it a Molotow paint job in the future. Also thinking about buying another Zephyr Train to add a Becky Thatcher car to ours. Lionel should have included one or made it available as an add on. Gary.

Lionel should have included one or made it available as an add on. Gary. The Mark Twain version is very nice but would be even better with a Becky Thatcher car. I have the North Pole Central version that came out at the same time as the Mark Twain. It is possibly the most unique Christmas Train in O Gauge. You stumped me at first with the Molotow paint job reference. I was reading it as “Molotov!” Which would be a very different paint job indeed. For anyone else who made the same mistake. Molotow is the maker of Chrome paint pens, among other paints. They are very good and I have used their fine tip paint pen in chrome to paint the bumpers of some of my automobiles. Really good product. Here’s a description from their site: Molotow Liquid Chrome Marker Create high-gloss mirrored effects with these unique, alcohol-based markers from Molotow! Released in celebration of Molotow’s 20th anniversary, Liquid Chrome Markers are great for creating a mirror finish on smooth, non-absorbent surfaces such as glass or plastic. The paint is highly opaque and permanent with good UV-resistance, and the low-odor formula makes the markers pleasant to use both inside and out. Molotow's patented Flowmaster technology assures consistent paint flow. Made in Germany. Thank for your post! Emile

The Chrome PE is the quintessential Silver Train! Beautiful is a huge understatement.

All we have out... our track testing Golden Gate Silver Meteor passenger car. Golden Gate Depot trains are the Gold Standard in O Gauge in my opinion. I can’t remember a GGD release that wasn’t outstanding.

Definitely silver by name and nature - although personally I prefer chrome; the GGD Silver Meteor.

Those Silver Meteor's are pretty cars. The NPC Zephyr is a special one Emile. Molotow can also be used with an airbrush as well. The guy in the video below reminds me of the 60's.
