Someone has a lot of extra cash. Looks like the catalog cover image didn't show but winning bid was $33,500 for the original art work on Stouts Auction.

The artwork is indeed iconic and representative of an era. It would likely look great on someone's wall. Not mine, I don't have that kind of disposable money. If I had, I would buy trains and a room addition. Alfred

What is interesting is that Stout Auctions darn near nailed the top end forecast for the bids. They forecasted $35,000, high bid was $33,500.
