Just when you believe it is safe to look at a Black Friday Now blast email from Trainworld fate takes over and you are in trouble. A few years ago I dabbled in G Scale primarily for Christmas themed stuff. In the course of that foray I came across a real fantasy Coca Cola set with a Mogul engine and matching cars in a bright and I mean bright yellow/red paint scheme. I resisted temptation until yesterday when I saw that TW was selling the engine and three of the cars for well what else, blowout prices. Looks as though my Piko Christmas train will have company this year. And it get's worse because as I was lurking around Star Hobbies which specializes in G Scale looking to see if they had the three Coca Cola cars that TW did not, I came across G scale woodside reefers from USA Trains (Charlie Ro). Wow the G scale canvas sure makes the billboard aspect of the art work pop. Attachments:

... I resisted temptation until yesterday when I saw that TW was selling the engine and three of the cars for well what else, blowout prices. ... LOL!!! Somehow I can't imagine "closing out" Lionel O-Gauge Bobber Cabooses for $85/each!!! That's still pretty steep for my wallet.

Agreed on the Lionel, however in this case with the LGB set, it was a considerable savings over the previous discount price. Even more could have been saved if I did not see the photo in the email blast!
