Hi Guys-
I have a set of Lionel BB-1 "rats" that when I start up the sound unit immediately shuts down after 3 seconds.
I can restart via the remote but then it shuts down repeatedly after 3 seconds. The cycle repeats on its own and I confirmed that no signal is being sent to tell it to shut down because no light from the base is flashing during this event.
My initial root cause is the radio board is giving a false signal to shut down, as usual NO board is available at Lionel.
Is it possible there is something else that could be telling the sound board to receive a command to shut down?
