Anything short of installing an actual shim is CRUDE anyway you cut it. I stand by what I posted shoving a piece of metal into a gear box and putting a screw in to hold it in place is effective but CRUDE.

There's crazy ideas, like "hey, maybe we can reuse the rocket engines to make space travel cheaper." Then there are wrong ideas, like "maybe we can use cream of mushroom soup as rocket fuel." Yours sir was the latter. Oh, that’s just great. I was about to pour a can of mushroom soup into my car’s gas tank. Until you debunked it! I was going to use it to clean my track and wash the windows.
