I had a dummy sd40-2 in Montana rail link that I bought last year at a home sale. The only train thing on the tables. Got for a great price. I have no other Montana rail link engines so I decided to have it painted in the US ARMY scheme and pair it up with my desert storm sd40-2. Beings I'm having issues from my cancer and arthritis in my hands I asked for some help. Well Josef (aka Walt) offered his help. He stripped and painted the shell in dark army green and then decaled it to give it a great look. Its a what if scheme that goes well with my other Lionel sd40-2 the desert storm. Walt is a great guy who is always willing to help, thank you!! Always wanted a Military engine and Walt made it come true!!! Dave Attachments:

I know what you mean, I have a friend that has rebuilt the drivetrain of many of my Standard gauge engines. All I have to do is pay shipping each way, but I also give him stuff dirt cheep if not free.
