It looks like the ED hasn't posted the attendance figures for Oct 2024 Fall York. Spring York brought in 8626 while the fall meet numbers are not released as yet. The ED added the pre-show with the intention of boosting York attendance but we will need to wait until the official number comes out to see if this made much difference,. My feeling is that attendance numbers will be close to the 9471 number for spring 2023 but it looks like the number of dealers may have declined a bit. Anyone here have better info.

I can’t gauge the attendance because I spend most of my time these days in the Orange Hall since my interests are with newer production. Some dealers weren’t there, some new dealers attended and some dealers came back that stayed away previously. What I can be sure of is that I saw a lot of new and recent products in the Orange Hall. More than I’ve seen in quite a while. It was quite the “candy store”! And I love O gauge candy!

Anecdotally I can state that based upon the parking lots that year to year attendance was up on Friday and most likely Thursday.

They usually report registrations but that does not always translate to attendance.

They usually report registrations but that does not always translate to attendance. That’s true for every venue that calculates attendance numbers.
