Which hobby stores been getting the bulk of your business of late?
For me comes down to three in no particular order.
Mr. Muffins Public delivery Track Jr Junction.
Seems Mr. Muffins been generating a lot of news of late, The last two Lionel special runs I've purchased are from Steve. J3a Hudson and as you all know the Berkshire.
I do have some special run diesels on order with Public Delivery Track. Yes I said it, DIESELS!

Gary, What's wrong with RO? I would order from them above all else but since I live in Masshole-chusetts, they would charge me sales tax.

I like Star Hobby, The Toy Exchange and TrainZ. I buy from them mostly. Charles Ro is good also. And so is Side Track hobbies. I guess it depends on what I am looking for and who has the best deal. If the price is close I will support my local shops.

I do most of my train shopping at local train shows and TRF Trains and MNT Hobbies in Melbourne, FL. Roundhouse South Electric Trains in Port Orange, FL is a great store but it's a 4 hour round trip so I don't go there very often.

So do I!!
I’ve had a great experience with just about all the model train stores I’ve made transactions with.
JusTrains of Delaware Nicholas Smith Mr. Muffin’s Public Delivery Track Charles Ro Trainworld Grzyboski’s Trains Stovkyard Express Sidetrack Hobbies Pat’s Trains Western Depot The Train Loft TrainZ Berwyn’s Toys and Trains Brady’s Train Outlet Nassau Hobbies Menards And lots of smaller and defunct shops
But my favorite train store is the TCA Eastern Division York Meet. Especially the evil Vince’s Trains, who twice a year devises ways to separate me from my money! But that seems to happen to me a lot with the many vendors and dealers there.
I spend a lot of my kid’s inheritance on trains. I really wish I was born wealthy instead of being so darn good looking!

Maybe someone here has seen the Polar Express 10th Anniversary Gold passenger cars and observation car at their local shops. If so, please let me know. I want them!

All of my favorites have gone out of business.
Wagner and Sons - Carlisle
Maxwell's - Harrisburg
Barry's - Elizabethtown Toy Train Shop - Hanover B&E Junction - York And in Maryland Catoctin Mountain Trains and the Train Room
Since most of the stuff I buy is used for restoration/repurposing, it's whoever has what I want at the cheapest price. Lately, that has been Trainz.
I won't patronize some, like Mr. Cupcake due to poor business practice. My son purchased a brand new MTH SD45 from him. Right out of the box, the engine would not run right. My son contacted the store to have it repaired under warranty. They told him they would not do it because my son was out of state.
So, he's not going to York anymore? No problem. We won't even look over that direction when passing his booth.

Bought a ton of S-gauge from B&E Junction back when they were located on the square in New Oxford, most of which I still have. It was a terrific shop...greatly missed.
