Mary and I decided to drive to Monon, IN and spend the day at the Monon Train Museum and Restaurant. It was about 100 miles one way, but it was a very pleasant drive especially with my wife. We had a pretty decent meal at the restaurant then took the tour of the museum. It was the off season so we were the only ones. There was a lot of stuff outside as well. It turns out I knew the tour guide from Tom McComas' memorial picnic. Can you imagine running in to someone you know out in the middle of no where 100 miles from home. I also picked up a Chessie plaque that was made with a 3D printer and yes that's my wife in the photo. I took a lot of photos so I only posted a few.

Denny, Sounds as if you had a great day. You did not say what you had for lunch/dinner? Alfred

Denny, Sounds as if you had a great day. You did not say what you had for lunch/dinner? Alfred It was lunch, Mary had a patty melt and I had chicken fried steak.

Loved the pictures of the speeders. Looks like a heck of a museum.
