Just released some neat stuff from the folks at Atlas, for some reason the link did not work.

Atlas makes some fantastic product. Its just unfortunate that you never know if they are EVER going to produce it.

I almost missed the Atlas booth at York, because my time was very limited and the booth wasn’t in the location shown in the Orange Hall chart on the York website.
Fortunately, I found the booth… because I was hoping to see their new center-beam flatcar. I saw many of these on our rail vacation out West last year. And the Atlas model looks great!!!
The booth also had three models on display that are surprise announcements — shipping this month. The anniversary boxcar (in the above photo) is only available directly from Atlas thru their website store. And the two Christmas boxcars (see below) are available from Atlas and a small number of select dealers.

While nothing of interest for me in this catalog. I'm REAL glad Atlas is back in the game. Looking forward to the 2-8-0 when they arrive and hoping for some RS-3 and F3 in the future.

A bit of good information on the newly announced Atlas-O Centerbeam cars... they will come with wrapped lumber loads, so you won't necessarily need to run the cars empty as pictured in the earlier photo(s). According to Atlas-O's recent "live social media event", different liveries will have their own wrapped lumber loads (different for each livery). And at a future date after delivery of these cars, additional wrapped lumber loads are planned for separate purchase.
These will be real sweet!

Are the select dealers for the Christmas cars identified?

I know Mr. Muffin's Trains is one of the dealers who put in an order for some. I clued him in to the offering... and he had them up on his website the next morning. So I ordered a pair from him. The Atlas-O 100th anniversary car needs to be ordered directly from the Atlas website.

Yes Trainworld also, but not a peep from the local dealer through whom I placed an order (or thought that I did) immediately upon returning from York. I will have to check tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up limited dealer wise. I took a defensive position and ordered from Mr Muffin as well just in case.

Those Centerbeam cars looked fantastic! I'll need a few of those. And a couple of those "ONE" containers
The figures inside the Christmas box cars are included with the cars. They will also be sold separately.

Anyone talk to Atlas at York about future offerings or when the 2-8-0 are going to hit store shelves?
